mbox 2 pro trouble after reformatting (Windows Vista)

Hi This might be a silly question but i've tried searching and going through the troubleshooting tips and haven't found an answer to this, so... I'm an Mbox Pro 2 user with Windows Vista / Ableton Live 6. I recently had to reformat my hard drive due to a virus. I've reinstalled all my other audio software but unfortunately i seem to have lost my Pro Tools 7 LE installation disc, so i'm unable to reinstall the required software to get the Mbox to work and Ableton isn't currently recognising it. Is it necessary to reinstall Pro Tools LE to use to mbox with Ableton? I never use PT so is there a way to install the Mbox 2 Pro without the Pro Tools disc? Is it just a case of reinstalling the ASIO driver? I thought i'd be able to download the correct PT software from the digidesign site, but as it was a long time ago that i got the mbox, i can't remember if I registered an account or not. Would I have had to register an account to install my mbox/PT in the first place? The digidesign website isn't recognising any of my email addresses so I'm guessing I never registered the product. I'm completely lost with this so any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

If you did in fact register, yes you can download your software again. Remember, the first version of PT with Vista compatibility was 7.4 If you DIDN'T register, it's up to how understanding of a rep you get at Digi CSA.

But if I understand you correctly, do you simply want to use the Mbox as a sound card/pre-amp for Abelton?
